  The Charleston Daily Mail, 3 July 2000 RUPERT - Mavis T. Chapman, 84, of Rupert, Greenbrier County, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, in Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea, after a long illness. She attended Amwell Baptist Church and was a former housekeeper. Surviving: daughters, Minnie Oretha Westman of Eyoto, Minn., Josephine Rose Price and Della Marie Lilly of Rupert, Ottiella May Byner of Darlington, S.C., Mary Elizabeth Winals and Brenda Sue Terry of Charmco, Carrol Sue Pilkerton of Baltimore, Md.; sons, Marion Joseph of Dublin, Ga., Jackie Wayne of Rentz, Ga.; sister, Maude G. McClung of Mount Nebo; 41 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren. Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Houston Boothe officiating. Burial will be in End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville.
