Eliza Jane Showalter Haley Mitchell Following the death of her first husband, James Allen Haley, Eliza remarried to William D. Mitchell (b. 1846 in Pulaski Co., VA) on 29 Mar 1868 in Floyd Co., VA. I have been unable to locate William and Eliza in the 1870 or 1880 Censuses and have not uncovered death records for either. What happened to Eliza after her second marriage?
