  The Frederick Post, Frederick, MD, 14 October 1982 Mrs. Earnie N. Knapp, 68, of Triangle, Va., died Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Potomac Hospital, Woodbridge, Va. Her husband, Grady Knapp Sr. predeceased her in 1968. Born in Little Orleans. Mrs. Knapp was a daughter of the late Clair and Lillian Dyke Barnes. Surviving Mrs. Knapp are five daughters, Gladys Knapp of Arlington, Va., Florence (Gerry) Starliper of Hancock, Violet Schaft of Abilene, Texas, Norma Thompson of Hagerstown and Dorothy Stine, Martinsburg, W. Va.; seven sons, Grady Knapp Jr. of Triangle, Va., Richard Knapp of Woodbridge, Va., Charles Knapp, Patrick Knapp and Glenn Knapp, all of Hagerstown, Louis Stephen Knapp of Myersville and Michael Knapp, Buckeystown; 41 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, at the Bittle-Ricketts Funeral Home, Myersville, with Pastor John Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in Salem United Methodist Cemetery, Wolfsville. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at the funeral home.
