Cuma Elizabeth Mace, 93, of Greenville, Va., passed away early Tuesday morning, April 1, 2008, at her home following a short illness.
Born Jan. 30, 1915, in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late John S. and Ina Black Osborne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Romie Elvin Mace, in 1975; a daughter, Bonnie Jean Mace; and two sons, John and Leroy Mace.
Cuma was a member of the Rainelle VFW Auxiliary, a retired cook from Greenbrier West High School and a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, June Gladwell of Sandusky, Ohio, and Linda L. Hipes and husband, Bill, of Greenville, Va.; two sisters, Violet Walkup of Charmco and Marie Morris of Rainelle; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Clintonville, with Pastor Houston Boothe officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service. There will be no evening visitation.
