  The Beckley Register-Herald, Beckley, WV, Online Edition, 21 Aug 2010 RUPERT '97 Louise Walkup, 69, of Rupert, passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, in Heartland of Rainelle Nursing Home, Rainelle, following a long illness. Born Jan. 8, 1941, in Van, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Pearl Gunnoe Harper. She was a homemaker and a member of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church of Kieffer. Survivors include three sons, Robert G. Walkup and his wife, Janice, of Rainelle, William F. Walkup of Rupert, and Richard W. Walkup and his wife, Martha, of Concord, N.C.; a sister, Anne Dickens of Dalton, Ga.; a brother, Curtis Harper of Seth; one half brother, James Cummings of Cleveland, Ohio; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Becky, and Anna; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Chelsea, Conner and Adah; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services and burial will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, with Pastor Jim Groves officiating. There will be no evening visitation. Arrangements by Wallace & Wallace of Rainelle.
