RUPERT - Gladys Eleanor Hedrick, 84, of Kessler Road, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, following a sudden illness.

Grandchildren and great-grandchildren have many fond memories of visiting and spending summers with "Granny" as they fondly refer-red to their grandmother. "We remember Granny always had big meals on the table and always cooked our favorite foods. Granny not only raised her children but most of her grandchildren, too."
