RAY JENNINGS HUNTER, 78, OF KIEFFER, died Oct. 28, 1993, in Williamsburg after a short illness. He was a lifelong resident of Kieffer and a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church, Kieffer. He was a self-employed logger. Surviving: wife, Mildred Crookshanks Hunter; daughters, Gilda Cary of White Sulphur Springs, Galena Knapp of Rupert, Gwenda Heaster of Crawley, Gala Sheppard of Kieffer; sons, Gilmer, Gaynel and Granville, all of Kieffer, Glen and Gerald, both of Crawley; sisters, Margie Walkup of Crawley, Gladys Hedrick of Rupert, Gay Eiltis, Jackie Eiltis and Ruth Laurie, all of Wabash, Ind.; brothers, Carl Hunter of Rupert, Roy Hunter of Meadow Bluff, Robert Hunter and Kirby Blankenship, both of Crawley; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Beaver Creek Baptist Church, Kieffer. Burial will be in Burns Cemetery, Kieffer. Friends may call from from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, and one hour prior to service at the church.
