  Smathers Funeral Chapel, Rainelle, WV https://www.smathersfuneralchapelinc.com/obituaries/Roger-Dale-Hamilton Roger Dale Hamilton, 63, of Rainelle, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at his home following a sudden illness. Born October 1, 1954, at Ronceverte, he was the son of Rexie McClung Hamilton of Rainelle and the late Tracy Hamilton. Roger worked in construction for Lanford and then Adams. He was a graduate of Greenbrier West High School; a member of the Rainelle First Baptist Church; and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Roger was a good son, brother and friend. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother Randy and wife Joan of Fayetteville; a special friend Connie Grimmett of Rainelle; and a host of extended family and friends. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, in the Wallace Memorial Mausoleum at Clintonville with Pastor David Bush officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 12 – 1 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel.
