D1, col. 4 Karen Ann "Kay" Jones March 31, 2017 MISHAWAKA - Karen Ann "Kay" Jones of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 31st, 2017, surrounded by loved ones. Karen was born in Mishawaka in 1942 to the late Floyd & Thelma (Taylor) Baugher. She was a 1960 graduate of Mishawaka High School, and lived her life in the community. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Michael W. Jones; and stepson, Michael W. Jones, Jr.; and two sisters, Joyce Wegner and Marilyn LaPlace. She is survived by her son, Bruce (Mary Butiste) Jones, two grandchildren, Gabriel and Katherine, and longtime companion, Wesley Brumbaugh. Karen was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt to many. She will be dearly missed. Many thanks to those who assisted in her care at Creekside Village and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. As per her wishes, cremation is to take place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.
