JOHN HERMAN AKERS, 92, OF Fayetteville died Dec. 16, 1994, at Plateau Area Medical Center, Oak Hill, after a long illness. Surviving: brother, Bido of Summerlee; sister, Julia Leona Akers of Pea Ridge, near Oak Hill. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Marvin Reeves and the Rev. Billy Reed Wickline officiating. Burial will be in Bibb Cemetery, Route 1, Fayetteville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
