ANSTED - Earl Keith "Jack" Bibb, 68, of Ansted died Sept. 7, 1997, in Plateau Medical Center, Oak Hill, after a short illness.
He was a retired forest ranger working in forest fire control in Fayette and Kanawha counties with 35 years' service, a member of Ansted Baptist Church, Knights of Pythias Lodge 90, Ansted Temple 45, Pythian Sisters, former commander of American Legion, Ansted, a Marine Corps veteran and assistant chief of the Ansted Fire Department.
Surviving: wife, Marilene Skaggs Bibb; sons, Tom of Oak Hill, Dean of Ansted; daughter, Kathy Woods of Charleston; mother, Dollie Bibb of Ansted; three grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Ansted, with the Rev. Roy Gene Crist and the Rev. Jack Eades officiating. Burial, with Knights of Pythias service by Lodge 90, will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens, Victor. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where there will be a Pythian Sisters service at 7:30.
