Gillespie Funeral Set For Sunday
BELLWOOD (RNS) ? Hobert William Gillespie, 48, of Bellwood died Thursday evening in a Beckley hospital after a long illness.
He was a disabled coal miner, a member of the Little Sewell Baptist Church and a World War II Veteran.
Born at Craig, Nov. 9, 1921, he was a son of Homer and Nora Osborne Giilespie.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean of Lorain, Ohio; two sons, David and Gary, both of Lorain; seven sisters, Mrs. Zelda Turner of Illinois, Mrs. Lloyd Tincher of Rainelle, Mrs. Lawrence Aldridge of Hilton
Village, Mrs. Louis R. Pillow of Roanoke, Va., Mrs. James Kincaid of Perrysburg, Ohio, Mrs. Eugene Highlander of Tams and Mrs. Hobert Osborne of Gauley Bridge, and three brothers, Clifford of Ellensburg,
Wash., Robert H. of Piney View and Donald of Milburn, Ohio.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Don Smathers Funeral Chapel at Rainelle with Rev. Bert Jones in charge. Burial will be in Surbaugh Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.
