  The Charleston Gazette, Charleston, WV, Online Edition, 6 May 1998 QUINWOOD - Roy Albert Gillespie of Quinwood died May 4, 1998, in a Fairlea hospital after a short illness. He was a retired miner, received a business degree from West Virginia Tech and attended First Baptist Church, Quinwood. Surviving: wife, Emmogene Jones Gillespie; daughters, Carolyn Weis of Princeton, Deborah Kirtley of Hurricane; brother, Ralph of Texas; two grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Smathers Funeral Chapel, Rainelle, with the Rev. Bobby Franklin and the Rev. Jack Eades officiating. Entombment will be in the Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
