HILLTOP - Mrs. Daisy Sims Dobbins, 79, of Huntington died Monday in Hilltop Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was a registered nurse, a Methodist and a member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving: brothers, Elmer F. Lowry of Ashton, Conrad C. of Columbus, Ohio, Charlie of South Charleston; sister, Mrs. Nannie Sims of Huntington.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Smathers Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. P E. Orndoff officiating. Burial will be in Lowry Cemetery, Springdale. Friends may call alter 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

SPRING DALE (RNS) ? Mrs. Daisy Simms Dobbins, 79, of Huntington, formerly of Spring Dale, died Monday in an Oak Hill nursing home of natural causes.
Born Nov. 13, 1896, in Spring Dale, she was a daughter of the late Abraham and Minnie Fleshman Lowry.
She was a retired registered nurse and was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Huntington and Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Nannie Simms of Huntington, and three brothers, Elmer F. of Ashton, Conrod C. of Columbus, Ohio, and Charlie Lowry of South Charleston.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Smathers Funeral Chapel in Rainelle with the Rev. P. E. Orndorff in charge. Burial will be in Lowry Cemetery in Spring Dale.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m Wednesday.
