Elmer A. Johnson, Sr.
Elmer A. Johnson, Sr., age 61, died Friday, October 6, 1995, in his home in Montpelier, OH. He had worked as a crossing watchman for the N & W Railroad until his retirement in 1983. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a lifetime member of the DAV.
Surviving are his wife, Esther; son, Elmer Johnson, Jr.; daughters, Debbie (Don) Davis and Sharon Johnson; step-daughters, Sue (John) Wainwright and Robin Whiteman; step-sons, James, David (Marrianne) and Edward Whiteman; 2 grandchildren and 18 step-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister, Phyllis (Al) Mills and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date. Assisting with arrangements is the Hoeflinger Funeral Home, 3500 Navare Ave. and Thompson Funeral Home, Montpelier, OH.
