  The Charleston Gazette, Online Edition, 17 November 1998 LEWISBURG - Ruth Virginia Crone, 79, of Lewisburg died Nov. 15, 1998, at the home of her daughter, Norma Breit of Smoot, after a short illness. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Also surviving: daughter, E.J. Arbuckle of Wytheville, Va., Karen Dowdy of Danville, Va.; one grandson. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McCraw Funeral Home, Lewisburg, with the Rev. Jim Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery.
