Frankford-Richard Eugene Craft, 69, entered into rest Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at his residence in Frankford.
Born May 26, 1938, at Rupert, he was a son of the late Bernard and Lula Crone Craft.
He was a retired stationary engineer and was a member of Graystone Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife Clara Belle Rider Craft on May 11, 2007; son-in-law, Randy Peyton; three sisters, Shelma Lerch, Anna Belle Osborne McCugilton and Lillian Bryant; and two brothers, Roger and Carl Craft.
Survivors include: two daughters, Clara Martha Kendrick of Germantown, MD, and Barbara Joan Craft of Alexandria, VA; son, Gratten C. Craft of Ronceverte; granddaughter, Roseanne Craft of Alexandria, VA; two sisters, Marylou Harris of Florida and Dolly Hendrix of Harpers Ferry; brother, Robert Craft of Olney, MD; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Graystone Baptist Church in Fairlea where Rev. Youel Altizer and Rev. Mark Brandon officiated.
Private graveside rites will be held at Alvon Presbyterian Church Cemetery at a later date.
Friends visited one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations of sympathy be made to Graystone Baptist Church.
Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg was in charge of the arrangements.
