  The Charleston Gazette, 2 March 1985 ALFRED CARL JOHNSON, 86, OF Lindside, Monroe County, died Friday in a Beckley hospital after a long illness. He was a retired farmer. Surviving: several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today in Lowery Cemetery, Spring Dale, Fayette County, with the Rev. Kermit Hunter Sr. officiating. There will be no visitation. Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, is in charge of arrangements.
