BECKLEY - Mrs. Edna Richmond Rodes, 66, of Beckley, died Sunday in St. Vincent Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla.
She was in Jacksonville visiting a daughter when she became ill.
She was a member of Meadow Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving: husband, D. G.; sons, Thomas of Baltimore, Md., Timothy of Newport News, Va.; daughters, Mrs. Sue Walker of Newport News, Va., Mrs. Ellen Pruett of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Ellen Rogers of Charmco, Mrs. Sybil White and Mrs. Carrie Lutor, both of San Diego, Calif.; half-brothers, Albert Shuck of Olney, Md., Lawrence Shuck of Layland.
The body is at Rose-Quesenberry Funeral Home. Beckley.

RODES, Mrs. Edna Richmond - Service willl be 11 a.m. Thursday in Rose-Quesenberry Funeral Home,
Beckley, with the Rev. C. S. Donnelly officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Rodes, 66, of Beckley, died Monday in Jacksonville, Fla., where she was visiting a daughter.
