Salem, Va. - Mrs. Lula Belle McCormick, 56, formerly of Greenbrier County, died Wednesday, July 10, in a Roanoke, Va. care center, following a long illness.
Born Jan. 3, 1935, at Esty, she was the daughter of Mary Ethel Crane Lewis of Williamsburg and the late George Lewis.
Mrs. McCormick was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband James Harold Lewis.
Other survivors include her husband, Nelson T. McCormick; two sons, Richard K. Lewis of Roanoke and Steven W. Lewis of Lewisburg; six brothers, Hobert Lewis of Alderson, Sidney, Harry, and Orville Lewis all of York, Pa., and Bradford and Robert Lewis, both of Williamsburg; three sisters, Bethleen McCoy and Wanda Blankenship, both of Williamsburg and Mary Walton of Droop, and one grandson.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Rosewood Cemetery at Lewisburg with the Rev. Leroy Crane officiating.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Jack K. Wallace Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
