On Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, Lorrayne Lova Huth (nee Muncy), 81, was received into the arms of her Lord Jesus and daughter, Elaine Marie.
Lorrayne was born Sept. 26, 1921 in West Virginia. The eldest child of William Chester and Mildred (Miller) Muncy, she grew up in Akron, Ohio. She married Herman Frederick Huth, Sr. and together they raised their seven children in Mogadore, Ohio. Not only was Lorrayne a devoted wife, mother, and grandma, she was a people person. She was our family's Prayer Warrior. She was a member of Albrecht Avenue Church of God for over 50 years, serving as a Sunday school teacher and in the choir. Lorrayne loved her Lord and family. She and Herman also proudly supported the Mogadore Wildcats!
Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Roger and Carl Muncy; and daughter, Elaine Marie in 2000. She is survived by husband, Herman, of 66 years. Her proudest accomplishment in life was being Mama to Ruby L. Luke (Bradley) of Springfield, Herman F. Huth, Jr. (Nancy), Donna D. Hollosy, Elton Roger Duke Huth (Judy) all of Mogadore, Anna M. Stouffer (Larry) of Tallmadge, and Timothy W. Huth of Mogadore. Her legacy of love will continue in her 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heather Knoll for their kindness toward Lorrayne.
Family and friends may call on Monday, Sept. 22, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
