SALEM, Va. — Cheryl Lynn Goff, 60, formerly of Rainelle, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 at her home in Salem, following a sudden illness.
Born Aug. 20, 1949, at Hines, she was the daughter of the late Victor "Dick" and Barbara Lee McClung Golden.
Cheryl was a homemaker and a certified nursing assistant. She loved her grandchildren and they were her pride and joy.
She formerly worked at the Rainelle Public Library, and was a member of the Church of the Brethern of Salem, Va.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Rodney Goff (Robin) of Salem, Va., and Brian Goff of Amarillo, Texas; two sisters, Vicki Blue (Terry) of Beloit, Wis., and Nila Lytle (Steve) of Charmco; three brothers, Stanley Golden (Patti) of Parkersburg, Mike Golden of Charmco, and Steve Golden (Debra) of Crag; three grandchildren, Autumn, Aaron, and Shay and many loving nieces and nephews.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the Wallace & Wallace Chapel in Rainelle, with Pastor Clay O'Dell officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
