MEADOW BLUFF -Madeline Davis (Flint) Hanson, 84, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, at her home after a short illness.
Born Nov. 29, 1917, at Clintonville, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Vira Hayslett Flint.
Mrs. Hanson was a member of the Sinking Creek Baptist Church of Hughart and attended the Soule Chapel United Methodist Church of Meadow Bluff. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Hanson in 1994; and two brothers, Basil and Clarence Flint.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret A. Garrison of Buchannon, Va., and Rebecca J. Winebrenner of Buchannon, Va.; three sons, Jerry A. Hanson of Enderlin, N.D., David L. Hanson of Andover, Ohio, and Andrew C. Hanson of Meadow Bluff; four sisters, Anise Cales of Clintonville, Marguerite Hanna of Frankford, Evelyn Tuckwiller of Craigsville and Ann Laura Spinks of Alta; two brothers, Lewis and Harold Flint, both of Clintonville; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum at Clintonville with the Rev. Mike Tincher officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at the mausoleum.
