Rites Incomplete For A. McClung
THURMOND (RNS) - Funeral arrangements are incomplete for Allen Roscoe (Britches) McClung, 67, Thurmond, who died at 12:20 a.m. Monday at his home after a long illness.
Born at Mt. Lookout, Feb. 22, 1896, he was a son of the late Amos McClung, and Mrs. Lucinda Evans McClung, Summersville, who survives.
A Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Co. brakeman at Thurmond, he was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and Oak Hill Moose Lodge No. 1664.
Surviving are four sons, Phillip and Oather, both of Thurmond, Donald, Columbus, Ohio, and William, Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Dicy Skaggs, Beckley; two brothers, Everett, Summersville, and Noah, Mt. Lookout, and 18 grandchildren.
The body is at the Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
