Hallie Pearl Boone McClung
QUINWOOD - Hallie Pearl Boone McClung, 93, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a long illness.
Born March 15, 1910, at Judson, she was the daughter of the late Robert Andrew and Madora Alice Gill-Boone.
Mrs. McClung was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Quinwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newlon Yoke McClung, on Jan. 19, 1994; and 15 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty L. McClung Yost and husband, Bill Jr., of Roanoke, Va., Georgia A. McClung Walker and husband, Darrell, of Covington, Va., and Dorothy L. McClung Price and husband, Charles, of Faison, N.C.; a son, Newlon Ronald McClung and wife, Joan, of Quinwood; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, 14 stepgreat-grandchildren and four stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home Chapel, Rainelle, with the Revs. Houston Boothe and Rick Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
