Mrs. Diana Bradshaw Dies
Oct. 18, 1938 — Mrs. Diana Graham Bradshaw passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jerry Helms on Monday morning, Oct. 17, 1938, after a short illness. Born March 11, 1850, she was nearly 88 years of age.
Her passing saddened the hearts of her many relatives and friends, but her life was one that was a blessing and an influence for good.
She married Mr. Stephen Bradshaw who preceded her in death and is survived by one son, Charles Bradshaw of Bluefield, W. Va., and two daughters, Mrs. C. P. Hicklin of West Va., and Mrs. Jerry Helms of Clover Creek, four brothers D. C. Graham of Washington, D. Graham of Williamsville; Robert Graham of Illinois; and Charles Graham of Clover Creek.
Mrs. Bradshaw had been a faithful member of the Presbyterian church for many years.
Funeral services were conducted by her pastor Rev. L. M. Moffett, assisted by Rev. C. W. Paskel of the Methodist church.
The following were bearers of the lovely floral tribute: Mrs. Martin Polks, Mrs. Jack Marshall, Miss Julia Hicklin, Mrs. Elizabeth Simmons, Mrs Raleigh Clem, Mrs. David Michael, Mrs. Burnell Marshall, Mrs. John Folks, Mrs. Paris Hicklin, Mrs. Joe Flesher, Mrs. Aubrey Powers, Miss Ruby Propst, Mrs. Clarence Hicklin, Miss Diana Samples, Mrs. Harry Webb, Miss Lorena Helms.
The pall bearers were W. R. Hicklin, C. D. Hicklin, T. J. Hicklin, Uhl Graham, George Graham, Graham Hamilton.
Her remains were laid to rest beside her husband in the cemetery at Clover Creek.
