GEORGE M. BIVENN, 71, DIES IN HOSPITAL; C&O CONDUCTOR 42 YEARS
George M. Bivenn, 71, of 410 Myers Avenue, East Beckley, died in a local hospital at 3:30 p.m. yesterday following an illness of the last four years.
A Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad Company conductor for 42 years, he had been a resident of East Beckley for the 18 years.
Born in Alderson, Oct. 25, 1879, he was the son of Jim and Fannie Walkup Bivenn, and was a member of the Methodist Church.
The body will remain at Calfee Funeral Home pending the completion of the funeral arrangements.
