Ex-Beckleyan's Rites Conducted
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Norfolk, Va., for David Rollyson, 53, formerly of Beckley.
ROLLYSON died about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday after suffering a heart attack suffered while at work for the Norfolk and Western Railway Co. in Norfolk.
The funeral was held in the Chapel of the Graham Funeral Home in Norfolk with burial in the cemetery of Mrs. Rollysons family.
His mother, Mrs. Minnie Roliyson, his sister, Mrs. Maude Torreo, both of Bibb Ave., four brothers, Jack Rollyson, and O'Dell Rollyson, both of Beckley; John Rollyson, and Ilow Rollyson, both of Detroit, Mich. attended the funeral.
SURVIVORS in addition to his mother, his sister and brothers, include another sister, Miss Orreta
Rollyson, Beckley; another brother Jesse Rollyson, formerly of Beckley; his wife, Agnes Rollyson, Norfolk; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Marjorie Faris, Cleveland, Ohio; a stepson, Roy H. McDaniel, Norfolk, and four step-grandchildren.
He was born in Beckley April 19, 1906, and moved to Norfolk about 20 years ago after spending
several years in New York City.
