Funeral Services for J. L. Robertson Arranged
KULSYTH (RNS) ? Funeral services for John Lee Robertson, 70, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Freewill Baptist Church at Kilsyth by the Rev. W. C. Combs and the Rev. Robert Doan. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
Lee died at his home about 9 a.m. Thursday after suffering a heart attack.
He was a retired miner, a member of the Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church, and of the United Mine Workers of America.
Born in Alabama, Sept. 27, 1888, Robertson is survived by his wife, Charlotte; three sister, Mrs. Virginia DeLeon of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. G. C. Granger and Mrs. Lula Oley, both of Birmingham, Ala.; two sons, Ernest of Chicago, and Harry of Farmington; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Jones of Farmington; three stepsons, Carlos of Prosperity, Herbert of Mount Hope, and Gasprid Collier of Kilsyth; and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Opal Cash and Mrs. Alice Cash, both of Lynchburg, Va.
The body will be taken to the residence at 5 p.m.today from Tyree Funeral Home at Mount Hope and to the church one hour before the funeral.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
