Retired Bath Co. Merchant Dies In Harrisonburg
Harrisonburg, July 22. - J. N. Bradshaw, for 62 years a merchant of Williamsville and Clover Creek in Bath county and one of the leading citizens of that section, died last night at 6 p.m., at the Rockingham Memorial hospital, where he was brought a week ago for treatment for a tumor. He was 78 years old.
Mr. Bradshaw was born in Highland county. After servin 52 years as a merchant, he retired several years ago and lived a quiet life at Williamsville. He was a Confederate soldier and his been prominent in social and business activities in his section of the state.
His body will be interred in the family burying ground on the Brawshaw [sic] homeplace in Highland county. A brother and sister survive - Stephen Bradshaw, of Highland county, and Mrs. D. B. Roudabush, of Harrisonburg.

J. N. BRADSHAW DEAD
Jasper N. Bradshaw, retired Williamsville merchant, died Tuesday night at the Memorial Hospital, Harrisonburg, aged 78.
He had been in failing health for some time and had gone to the hospital for treatment.
Mr. Bradshaw was a Confederate veteran. He had conducted a mercantile business for 52 years.
He is survived by one brother, Stephen Bradshaw, of Highland, and one sister, Mrs. D. Roudabush, of Harrisonburg.
