RUPERT - Warren Neal McClung, 78, passed away Monday, July 12, 2004, at his farm in Rupert.
Born Nov. 30, 1925, at Rupert, he was the son of the late Jurl and Marguritte Yoakum McClung.
Mr. McClung was a retired coal miner and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Everett and Gene McClung; and a sister, Janet McClung.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Smailes McClung; four sons, Douglas of Grassy Meadows, Roger of Banquor, Pa., Tommy of Statesville, N.C., and Jeff of Rupert; three daughters, Carol Adkins of Beaverdam, Va., Linda Baldwin of Covington, Va., and Cathy Morrello of Rupert; two brothers, Byrne of Neilsville, Wis., and David McClung of Shepherdstown; a sister, Frances Gladwell of Martinsburg; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body was cremated and no services will be held.
