Harold S. (Bus) Johnson, 72, of Rainelle, died Saturday, Feb. 5, in a Charlottesville hospital after a long illness.
Born Oct. 15, 1910, in Oak Hill, Mr. Johnson was a retired employee of Eskew Smith Cannon of Charleston, a member and trustee of the Rainelle United Methodist Church, the Midland Trail Lodge No. 166 and the Rainelle Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Johnson; three daughters, Jean Ramey of Jacksonville, Fla., Patricia Wetzel of Bradenton, Fla., and Janet Hood of Rainelle; a son, Harold Johnson Jr. of Rainelle; a sister, Marie Harrif of Lawrenceville, N.J.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Rainelle United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rich Thurston officiating. Burial will be in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville with Masonic graveside rites.
Friends may call today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Smathers Funeral chapel in Rainelle.
Donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of the Rainelle United Methodist Church.
