MISS LAURA BLAGG
The death of Miss Laura Blagg occurred Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her home on Court Avenue. She had been seriously ill for several months, and, being about 65 years of age, strength left her day by day until she fell into that dreamless sleep which knows no waking this side of the land where rewards hall surely come to those who, like this good woman, are faithful to their trusts on earth.
A 2 o'clock on Friday at the Methodist Episcopal Church funeral services were held, and then the body was borne to Machpelah cemetery for interment.
The deceased was a sister of the late wife of W. H. Jack, and she had long lived with the family. She leaves another sister, Mrs. Jane Knipple, of Elwin, Ill. She also leaves a brother, Rev. John A. Blagg, of Cottageville, who was for years and active pastor in the West Virginia conference of the United Brethren Church. There are also a number of other relatives. - West Free Press.
