  The Charleston Gazette, 18 September 1995 THE REV. JAMES W. CRANE, 61, of Culpeper, died Sept. 15, 1995, in Culpeper of a heart attack. He worked in sales at The Farm Chronicle and was the pastor of the Cedar Run Baptist Church, Culpeper. Surviving: wife, Phyllis; daughter, Suzanne Carter of Youngsville, N.C.; sons, Allen of Franklinton, N.C., and Bruce of Youngsville; stepchildren, Reba, Tim, and Tony; father, Rev. William Leslie Crane of Roanoke; seven grandchildren. Service will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at Founds & Son Funeral Home, Culpeper. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Martinsville.
