Notes - The Greenbrier Independent, Volume XXXV, Number 25, Thursday Evening, November 29, 1900
Mrs. Burns, wife of Mr. J M Burns, and mother of our County Superintendent, L W Burns, died last Friday, the 23rd inst., at her home near Meadow Bluff, this county, aged 50 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church, and was a most estimable lady. She leaves a husband, four children and many friends and relatives to mourn her demise.
