RICHMOND, Va. ? Elizabeth Anne Berry Fine lost her brave fight with cancer on Feb. 2, 2009, at her home on Derwent Road.
She was born on June 12, 1942, at Fire Creek; she was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Monroe Berry and Dorothy Woolwine Berry Burns of Layland.
She attended Danese Elementary school, graduating from Meadow Bridge High School in 1961. Elizabeth was a member of Oakvale Missionary Baptist Church at Danese, which she loved and supported for many years after moving to Richmond to live.
She was employed by General Motor Corporation in Sandston, Va.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ronald Fine; two daughters, Lori Fine of Midlothian, Va., Ronda Banks and husband, Billy, and a granddaughter, Leeanne; two sisters, Virginia Morris of Layland and Sandra Ritter and husband, Gary, of Danese.
Her services were held Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at Bililey?s Funeral Home, Chippenham, Va., with the Rev. Jereme Hancock. Interment followed at Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, Va.
