RAINELLE - Kenneth C. Hunter, 73, of Rainelle died Feb. 23, 1998, in Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea, after a long illness.
He was a retired miner, a member of UMW and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving: wife, Hildred Jarvis Hunter; sons, Kenneth Hunter Jr. of Smoot, Derris Hunter of Rainelle; sisters, Edna Hobbs of Rainelle, Garnette Jean Cox of Uhrichsville, Ohio, Bonnie Lee Knapp of Louisville, Ky., Betty Jo Fleshman of Chesapeake, Va.; brother, Quinton Hunter of Chicago; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Kermit Hunter Jr. and the Rev. James A. Hobbs Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
