Quinton G. Hunter, Sr., age 89 of Hobart, IN and formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away April 18, 2011. He was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, the VFW and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by daughter Sharon Hunter. Quinton is survived by his wife Ferris; children: Charlotte Kincaid, Douglas Hunter, Donald Hunter, Janet (Rick) McPeak, Quinton Hunter, Jr., Jewel (Kenneth) Meyer, William Hunter, and Kimberly (Bill) Kelley; grandchildren: Dawn, Jessica, Randy, Shawn, Patricia, Zachery, and Lillian; and beloved great grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart, IN followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home (Hobart). Pastor Dick Brown officiating.
