Hallie Gale Toler, 81, of Rupert, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, in Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio, following a long illness. Born Oct. 19, 1925, at Meadow Bridge, she was a daughter of the late Garland King and the late Mattie Walker King. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Toler; a sister, Anna Katherine McCommack; and a brother, Eldon King. A homemaker, she was a graduate of Rupert High School. Survivors include a daughter, Linda K. Burrell of Parkersburg; two sons, Harold L. Toler of Daniels and Douglas W. Toler of Powhatan, Va.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Chapel, Rainelle, with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating. Burial will follow in End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call two hours before service Sunday at the funeral chapel. Arrangements by Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle.
