MELVIN W. HUNTER, 74, OF CULLODEN died Friday, May 28, 1993, in St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, Fla., after a long illness. He was a retired building contractor. He was a member of Pipefitters Local No. 625 and Hurricane Bible Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Surviving: wife, Marjorie Nutter Hunter; daughters, Mrs. Judy Ann Thiede of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Karen Sue Myles of Fayetteville, Ga.; sons, Colin W. of Teays Valley, Bruce L. of St. Albans; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Casdorph-Curry Funeral Home, St. Albans, with Pastor Art Hage officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
