  The Beckley Post-Herald, Beckley, WV, 8 August 1956 John Andy Sims Taken By Death RAINELLE, Aug. 7 (RNS) - John Andy Sims, 77, died at 2:30 p.m. today at his home following an extended illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Lilly Valley Baptist Church. He was born Nov. 11, 1878, at Dennis. He was a son of the late Charley Andrew and Nancy Osborne Sims. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ora Tincher Sims; two sisters, Mrs. Hettie Tincher of Crag and Mrs. Leona Sanford of Smoot; one daughter, Mrs. Susie McGuire of Beckley. Arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the Nickell Funeral Home in East Rainelle.
