Ellen Burns Dies; Rites Incomplete
LAYLAND (RNS) - Mrs. Ellen Mae Burns, 66, of Layland died Monday at her home after a short illness.
Born Nov. 28, 1904, at Fire Creek, she was a daughter of the late Marion and Ethel Haley Berry.
Survivors include her husband, James; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Hickinbotham of Oak Hill, Mrs. Opal Adkins of Fayetteville, Mrs. Elsie Fleshman of Danese, and a brother, Lester of Danese.
She was a member of Layland Heights Baptist Church.
The body is at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle.
