"Wig" Feazell, 82, of Fayetteville, died Jan. 12, 2006, at the Beverly Health Care Center in Glasgow. Born May 9, 1923, at Beckwith, he was the son of the late Elmer H. Feazell and Isabelle Arthur Feazell. He also was preceded in death by a son, Randy Feazell; a brother, Elmer Lee Feazell; sisters, Betty June Bowles and Gloria Rhodes; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Feazell. Mr. Feazell graduated from Fayetteville High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. His rank was corporal when he received his honorable discharge. He enjoyed collecting coins. Surviving: his daughter, Elizabeth Ann "Ginger" Blackburn of Charleston; grandsons, Wayne Taylor and his wife, Melissa, of Corbin, Ky., Carl Lee Blackburn III of Charleston and Randall Stewart Feazell II of Beckwith; great-grandchildren, Roger Wayne Taylor of Annapolis, Md., Christina R. Taylor of Corbin, and Mark Feazell and Avrey Feazell, both of Ansted; and brother-in-law, William "Bill" Rhodes, and nephew, Ronald "Punkin" Wygal, both of Beckwith, with whom he made his home. Service was Jan. 15 at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Mack Canterbury officiating. Burial followed in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville.
