  The Beckley Register-Herald, Online Edition, Thursday, 16 June 2005 RUPERT -- Sandra Anne Walkup, 63, of Rupert, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at her home following a long illness. Born Feb. 27, 1942, in Wabash, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Charles Scott and Gladys Hunter Hedrick. Ms. Walkup was a school bus driver for the Greenbrier County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delford Franklin Walkup, in 2001; a sister, Carol Gibson; her grandparents, Loxie and Everette Hedrick, and Jennings and Zenna Hunter; and two grandchildren, Chad Fleeman and Justin Winfrey. Survivors include a daughter, Annette Fleeman of Lancaster, Pa.; three sons, Bobby Winfrey of Rupert, Scott Winfrey of Rupert and Josh Walkup of Rupert; three sisters, Debbie Deitz of Rupert, Ruthie Hanson of Rupert and Gerry Jacobs of Hurricane; a brother, Buddy Hedrick of Rupert; and eight grandchildren, Bradley, Michael and Autumn Fleeman, Scott, Ashley, Keldon and Heaven Winfrey, and Brittany Morgan. Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle, with Pastor Charles Meadows officiating. Entombment will follow in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville. Friends may call one hour before service Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle.
