Nancy C. Hunter, 63, of Rupert, WV gained her wings on January 22, 2019 at Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, FL after her battle with cancer.
Born on October 5, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Garnett and Lena Anderson. She was proceeded in death by her brother Butch Anderson and infant son Ernest Hunter.
Nancy's most precious possession was her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and crafting. She enjoyed attending Smoot Baptist Church. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Ernie and their children; Heather Humphreys (Bruce), Darren Hunter (Heather), and Chris Hunter. Seven grandchildren; Sebastian Puleo, Autumn Dolin (Justin), Landon Humphreys, Hunter Humphreys, Makenna Humphreys, Carter Hunter, Gracelyn Hunter; 3 Great-Grandchildren, A sister, Brenda Glover(Walter) and Brother Larry Anderson, along with several other family members.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on February 9, 2019 at the Quality Inn formerly known as the Brier Inn in Lewisburg, WV from 1pm-4pm. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation.
