LEXINGTON -- Judith Ann Rhea Jackson, 51, of Main Street died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, in her home.
She was born December 7, 1953 in Mansfield to Victor and Lossie Flynn Rhea. Judith attended Pioneer Vocational School and was graduated from Lexington High School. Judith also attended nursing school in Toledo where she earned her LPN, in nursing.
In 1996, Judith returned to Lexington where she was employed at Country Meadow Care Center.
Judith was a member of Berean Baptist Church where she was active in church activities and a member of Healing Touch.
She held a particular fondness for her dog, a Maltese named "Noah."
A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Stephen Mundy of Lexington; two grandchildren, Kennedy Cline of Lexington and Stephen C. Mundy of Ashville; one expected grandchild, of whom Judith was anticipating with great excitement; four brothers and a sister-in-law, Allen and Marlean Rhea of Fredericktown, James Rhea of Bellville, Michael Rhea of Lexington, and Douglas Rhea of El Paso, Texas; two stepbrothers, Larry Harris of Lancaster and Gary Harris of Mansfield, her stepmother, Edith Rhea of Bellville; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of church family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Rhea, on Nov. 12, 2003.
Friends may call Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004 in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Berean Baptist Church, 2145 Middle-Bellville Road, with the Rev. David J. Pound officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
