Pioneer Resident of Fillmore County Dies.
Wykoff, Minn., Jan. 6 - Elisha Barber, one of this county's old residents, recently died in La Crosse following an attack of pneumonia. He was born in West Virginia in 1869, and as boy of six years came with his parents to Carimonia township, Fillmore county, Minn. In 1896 he was married to Miss Olive Engebretson, and to them two sons were born, one of died very suddenly in 1918. Mrs. Barber died fifteen years ago. Mr. Barber moved to Wykoff from Preston, Minn. He is survived by one son, an aged mother, two sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held from the Union Prairie church, Rev. Nestande officiating. Interment was made at Union Prairie cemetery, near here.
