Ima Jean Harvey, 89, of Lewisburg formerly of Clintonville passed away on Monday June 5, 2023 at Peyton Hospice in Fairlea.
She was born June 10, 1933 in Clintonville and was the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Nettie Hanna Loudermilk.
Ima Jean was a member of James Chapel United Methodist Church and a retired Food Service Administrator with the Greenbrier County Board of Education.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband William Dewey Harvey; son Gary Dean Harvey; sister Alene Loudermilk and brothers, Hartley Loudermilk and Paul Loudermilk.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Randy Harvey (Debbie) of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Jennifer Hedrick (Tanya), Valerie Jordan, Jessica Hammack and Tiffany Latocha (Steve); great grandchildren Madison Carter (Isaac), Caylea Carter, Jamison Sizemore (Sarah), Jacquelyn Sizemore, Jayce Hammack, Jordan Hammack, Josslyn Hammack and Poppy Lee; great great grandchild, Alyla Syed; sister Barbara Johnson; sister in law Faye Yates and several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held for Ima Jean on Friday June 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM at James Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Jesse Pope and Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating. Interment will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville, WV.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday June 8, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
The family would like memorial Contributions be made to either James Chapel United Methodist Church 710 Shoestring Trail, Crawley, WV 24931; or Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
