Patricia L. DeRita
Taneytown
Patricia L. DeRita, 58, of Taneytown, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at Carroll County General Hospital. She was the wife of Dominick "Junior" DeRita of Taneytown.
Born Nov. 28, 1944, in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Agnes R. Miller Hanson.
She was employed by Westminster Shoe and Cambridge Rubber in Taneytown before retiring. She was also a member of Church of the Open Door in Westminster, where she participated in the Super Sixties.
Surviving also are two sons, Dominick DeRita IV and Ray L. DeRita, both of Westminster; two brothers, Charles "Buck" Hanson of Finksburg and Edward Hanson of Westminster; a sister, Sharon Hanson Pluto of Laurel; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
