Deaths
Mrs. Michael R. Miller
Mrs. Mary Gladys Miller, 48, of 410 Poole Rd., Apt. T3, Westminster, died early Tuesday morning at the Carroll County General Hospital after a long illness. She had been employed at the Westminster Knit Co. as a presser. She was the daughter of the late Mabel Bankard Riffe and Wade Miller. She is survived by her husband Michael R. Miller, 205 York Street, Hanover Pa. Also surviving her is a former husband, Harding Oakley Hanson three daughters: Mrs. Dolores Blizzard, Westminster; Mrs. Diana Blizzard, Westminster and Mrs. Mary Louise McKinney, Frederick, and five sons; Harding David Hanson, Phillip Hanson, Stanley Hanson and Robert Hanson, of Westminster, and Julian Hanson, Hanover, Pa. She is also survived by the following sisters and brothers: Laverne H. Miller and Mrs. Agnes R. Hanson, Westminster; Samuel E. Miller and Mrs. Agnes R. Hanson, Westminster; Samuel E. Miller, L. Miller, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Julian Wade Miller, Charleston, West Virginia; Robert R. Riffe, ion Stenger, Baltimore; Mrs. Betty M. Winn, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Shirley Torres, Westminster; Mrs. ese, Denver, Colorado; and Mrs. Pauline R. Riffe, Charleston, West Virginia; and eight grand children. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Myers-Pritts funeral home with the Reverend Glenn H. Hickman officiating. Interment will take place at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wednesday 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9, and on Thursday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9.
